To accomodate the launch of new Motorola Droid X, Verizon is going to give Droid X customers some privileges. Verizon will be the exclusive retailer to offer the high-capacity 32GB SanDisk microSDHC card to Droid X owners, providing Droid X owners an ability to expand their beloved Droid X’s memory capacity to an incredibly huge 40GB of total storage – 8GB internal memory + 32GB SanDisk microSDHC card.

However, if you feel that 24GB memory storage (8GB on-board memory + free 16GB microSDHC card) is more than enough for you, you have no need to spend $100 for a 32GB SanDisk microSDHC card.

Note: Droid X by Motorola (Verizon) comes bundled with a free 16GB memory card.

32GB SanDisk microSDHC memory card is now available via Verizon for $99.99 while purchased alongside the new $199 DROID X by Motorola, and consumers who didn’t buy Droid X will be charged for $149.99 ($50 more) while purchased separately.
