acer_tempo02Acer unveiled its first ever smartphone in Mobile World Congress Barcelona (MWC’09) today. The Tempo series beginning with X960, M900, DX900 and F900 which were introduced to participants in MWC’09 today signified an important move of the Taiwan-based computer manufacturer into the mobile phone market. All the high-end Tempo smartphones feature a sensitive touchsceen and run on Windows Mobile 6.1. Amongst the models introduced, the Tempo M900 is the most fully featured. The M900 comes with a slideout QWERTY, a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and flashlight, a 3.8-inch WVGA TFT LCD touch screen and microSD card slot. There are no pricing details available at this point of time and it will be made known to public by Acer soon.
