As you know, mobile phones have already developed into various functions, and the Japanese Cyber University has took it further with its mobile course – “mysteries of the pyramids” via cellphones, aiming to let people to gain university qualifications online but not lecture hall. According to Cyber University, the course is delivered via a streaming video of Power Point presentation.

“Our duty as educators is to respond to the needs of people who want to learn,” said Sakuji Yoshimura, head of Cyber University.

The innovative mobile class is available for free to the general public, but might be only applied on Softbank cellphones with some access charges. Softbank owns 71% of the virtual campus.
