Dell has announced its new fully rugged laptop which called as Latitude E6400 XFR. The Latitude E6400 XFR meets a high drop specification, and offers a greater level of dust and moisture protection. The high-strength substance has been improved with Dell-exclusive Ballistic Armor Protection Systems that featuring PR-481. Latitude E6400 XFR has been tested to over 13 military standards (MIL STD 810F) for operation in challenging environments.

Beside that, Latitude E6400 XFR is also featured with PrimoSeal Technology for enhance protection from dust and liquid with compression gaskets that deliver a higher level of ingress protection, or shielding from dust and moisture, than any system in its class with an IP-65 rating.

Featured with 14.1-inch wide display with DirectVue technology, Dell Latitude E6400 XFR is also powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processors and vPro technology. In addition, it also comes with a 128GB solid-state drive, a dedicated NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160M graphics chip for video and option of extra field batteries that can recharge much more quickly than usual.

The new Latitude E6400 XFR is now available in the US, Canada, France, Spain, United Kingdom, Germany and Italy and is priced starts at $4299.
