HTC and Verizon Wireless have announced an upcoming launch of DROID ERIS by HTC (a.k.a HTC Hero), which incorporates Android 1.5 OS, HTC Sense UI, and innovative ‘Scenes’ feature that allows users to create multiple home screens – each with different widgets and shortcuts, delivering an individualized mobile experience to suit everybody needs.

DROID ERIS by HTC Android phone that measures 4.45 x 2.19 x 0.51 inches and weighs in at 4.23 ounces is scheduled to be available in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online at beginning November 6 for $99.99, after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new 2-year service contract.
