The leader supplier of rugged computers, Handheld Europe has unveiled its new Nautiz X5 mobile phone. The rugged and versatile phone is capable of deliver high-end features. The phone is an IP65 rated which has the ability to withstand in the harsh environments. Moreover, the phone can withstand drop from 1.8m and operated on wide range of temperatures (-20°C to 55°C). The high quality laser scanner has been improved for reading all common barcodes and a 2-D imager.

Equipped with a 3.5-inch VGA TFT LCD screen with numeric or QWERTY keypad, Nautiz X5 is also incorporates with 3-megapixel camera with auto focus function. It powered by high speed 806MHz Xscale processor, built-in 512MB Flash memory, 256MB RAM. In addition, it also equipped with 802.11b/g WLAN, SiRF star III GPS chip that offers better navigation function, Bluetooth enabled, supports microSD card slot, 4400 mAH powerful battery, speaker and microphone.
