VLC is an open source media player that is famous for its stability and compatibility with almost all of the media files such as MPEG2, MPEG3, MPEG4, OGG, DivX and more. Besides being used as simple media player, it also can serve as a media server to stream both unicast and multicast in digital home. To make it more useful for daily application, there is a simple step on how to enable VLC to display in full screen mode by default once you launch the application.
Follow below steps to enable full screen as default display mode:
1. Open VLC Media Player.
2. Go to the Menu -> Tools ->Preferences.
3. On the Preferences window, click Video button.
4. Check the Fullscreen checkbox on the General Video Settings.
5. Click Save button
Once above steps are done, you will be able to get the full screen mode which is especially useful when you are relying on your limited size monitor screen to view HD (High Definition) media streaming from central office directly.
