Facebook enthusiasts frequently make use of Facebook Events to organise events such as parties, seminars, gatherings, meetings, etc within their own community circle. Via this channel, members of the same community can be notified easily about the event. However, being a busy Facebook fan, you may want to stay in touch with your community but might not have the time to log in to your Facebook account to check on upcoming events or invitations that are still awaiting your confirmation. If you are using Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook to organize your events and do scheduling, to avoid missing any great parties or significant events from your Facebook group, you can actually export the Facebook Events to your Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook so that you can monitor them accordingly.

To export your Facebook Events to your Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook, users can follow the setting up procedure illustrated as follows: –

Login to your own Facebook account. Click to the Application icon located at the left bottom corner. Click on the Events application to direct you to the Events page.

At the Events page, users need to click the “Export Events”

Once users click on to “Export Events”, users will be prompted with a dialog box and given a URL. Users need to copy the URL and click the URL to save an iCalendar File for later use.

To export Facebook events to Google Calendar, users need to login to Google Cal, go to Other Calendar section, click “Add” -> “Add by URL” to add a new calendar.

In the dialog box prompted, enter the URL which users copy from. Facebook Events will be added to Google Calendar.

To export Facebook events to Microsoft Outlook, users just need to open their Microsoft Outlook and run the Calendar iCalendar File. The Facebook Events will be added to the Microsoft Outlook.
