Microsoft Office Live Workspace Add-in – Office Live Update 1.4

Office Live Workspace is a free Web-based service for storing and sharing documents online. Recently, Microsoft has released the latest version of Office Live Update 1.4. The update is expected to improve the integration between and Microsoft Office program, allows the users to access workspaces from Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and plug-In for Firefox to allow Mozilla Firefox users to use Office Live Workspace with Microsoft Office.

To install the Office Live add-in, an account for Mircosoft Office Live Workspace is required. The account can be signed up for free at with free 5GB of storage space.

The Office Live Add-in installs new menu options in the 2007 Microsoft Office system and a toolbar in Microsoft Office XP and Microsoft Office 2003. The users can use these menu options and toolbars to open documents located in Office Live Workspace directly from Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Beside that, they also can save files directly from Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to Office Live Workspace.

There will be an Office Live Workspace Plug-In in Firefox browser. It allows users to open, edit, and save Microsoft Office documents in Office Live Workspace directly from the browser by using Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
