Nokia has announced its latest E-series smartphone – Nokia E72, which is an updated version of the Nokia E71. The new Nokia E72 is equipped with 2.4 inch QVGA display, 5 megapixels camera with autofocus and flash, and improved messaging software suite. In addition, the smartphone will run S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2, has a tweaked keyboard layout, an Optical Navi Key (trackpad) in the centre of the D-pad, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Nokia E72 also comes with new version of QuickOffice (version 5.3) which includes full editing mode and support for Office 2007 documents, superb call quality with the addition of Active Noise-cancellation. Furthermore, it also supports easy access to Ovi, Windows Live!, Yahoo IM, Facebook, YouTube, MySpace, and has built-in Flash player and auto-landscape orientation to enhance excellent web browsing.

The Nokia E72 is available in three color: Zodium Black, Metal Grey, and Topaz Brown. The phone measures just 114 x 58 x 10 mm and weighs only 128g (with battery). Nokia E72 will be available starting from Q3 2009 for the price of €350 ($570).
