Korean company UMID introduces one of the smallest and sexiest MID (Mobile Internet Device) at the Global Mobile Vision expo.

It weighs only 315 grams. The dimension is not provided but it is somewhere between Nintendo DS and Everun Note in terms of size.

This tiny gadget is packed with a 1.33GHz Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, and up to 32GB of storage via SSD (Solid-state drive). It also comes with WiBro, WiMAX, HSDPA, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.

The MID features a compact clamshell of 4.8-inch 1024 x 600 touchscreen with 1.3 megapixel situated next to it, and full QWERTY keyboard. Other specs include DMB-T and DVB-T digital TV tuners (covers both common Korean and european standards), microSD slot, USIM card slot (for Korean use) and a single mini-USB 2.0 port

Windows XP and Vista, together with Linux, are all supported. The MID will be launched next year. The amount of technology packed into a 315g package is the real killer here. However, there is no word on price, specific release date nor availability outside of Korea.
