Samsung and Verizon have officially announced the launch of new high-performance Samsung Fascinate (Galaxy S) Android 2.1-based smartphone, which features a powerful 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird Application Processor, 5-megapixel AF camera with LED flash and HD (720p) video capture, 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display, virtual QWERTY keyboard with SWYPE text input, 3G Mobile HotSpot and 2GB internal memory, and is bundled with a free 16GB microSD memory card.



Besides, the company also introduced a number of accessories to Samsung Fascinate for added convenient and fun, including Charging Cradle ($29.99), Car Dock ($39.99) and Backup Battery Charging System ($39.99).

Samsung Fascinate Galaxy S smartphone that pre-loaded with Amazon Kindle for Android app is slated to be available exclusively for Verizon customers beginning September 8 for around $200, after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new 2-year service contract.
