Samsung has released its three new multimedia phones which named as candy bar Shark (S5330), slider Shark 2 (S5550) and Shark 3 (S3550). All of the phones have been integrated with the Social Networking Services (SNS) which consist of shortcuts to social network such as Facebook, MySpace, Bebo and etc. Besides that, it also allows the users to upload their favorite photos or videos to Flickr, Picasa, Photobucket and YouTube. The security of the phones has been enhanced with a Mobile Tracker which assists in tracking a misplaced or stolen phone by warning the users when the SIM card is changed. The phones are also can be programmed to send an SOS Message to a pre-selected emergency contact.



The Shark is featured with a 2.2-inch screen with 240 x 320 resolutions. The phone is also equipped with a 3.2-megapixel camera with video recording function. The candy bar phone is preloaded with a multi-IM app that can merge all of the user’s accounts for GTalk, AIM and Palringo Chat into one user friendly application for immediate interaction with all the friends, integrated with FM radio for users to enjoy their favorite songs while on the go and supports 3G networks. In addition, it is Bluetooth enabled, comes with 100MB of internal memory and supports microSD memory card.

The Shark 2 is featured with a 2.2-inch AMOLED display with 240 x 320 resolutions. The phone is also equipped with a 5.1-megapixel camera and a microSD memory card slot. Additionally, it is Bluetooth enabled, has built-in 110MB of internal memory and integrated with FM radio. The Shark 3 is featured with a 2-inch screen with a 240 x 320 resolutions and a 2-megapixel camera. It comes with 40MB of internal memory and integrated with FM radio. Furthermore, it is Bluetooth enabled and supports microSD memory card.

The handsets are expected to be available in consumer markets later in January and the prices of the phones are not yet announced.
