On some occasions you may need to copy and paste texts from a web page. It takes a bit of time to manually record the metadata for the copied texts such as page title, copy date, URL source, quote, etc. To make life simpler, QuoteURLText, an addon to Mozilla Firefox browser will let you copy your selection of texts and paste it to the clipboard together with the relevant metadata you are asking for.
You can get this free application via the link here. After installing it, you can highlight and select the relevant texts from a webpage, right click to select copy via QuoteURLText or use the shortcut keys by pressing Ctrl+Shift+C (Win) or Command+Shift+C (Mac). You can set the option and refine the metadata to be copied along. Alternately, you can also choose to copy plaintext or rich text only.
