Depending on individuals, some users might not be so comfortable with the default speed and sensitivity for their touchpad and mouse to control the cursor movement. Since a single setting is applied to both touchpad and mouse, users who are familiar with the speed while using a mouse might not be comfortable when they change to touchpad instead and vice versa. When the cursor is too sensitive and move too quickly, users sometime might accidentally highlight or delete some important things. AutoSensitivity is a simple program which allows users to set and define two different sensitivities for their mouse and touchpad respectively.

With AutoSensitivity installed, users will be prompted with a setting window to adjust the sensitivity or speed for both mouse and touchpad differently. Users can set and apply the speed for their mouse and touchpad so that they don’t encounter sensitivity issues. AutoSensitivity requires Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 / 4.0 and it supports Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. Users can download it from the AutoSensitivity codeplex.com.
