The Sony Ericsson will have Kate C510, a bar-shaped mid-range Cyber-shot, to hit the shelves in two months.



The Kate is equipped with a 3-megapixel sharpshooter with auto focus and goodies such as face and smile detection. It comes with only a LED flash as the xenon unit is reserved to the Sony Ericsson Phillipa. It is a traditionally for Cyber-shots and the C510 will also have an active lens cover and camera shortcuts that light up when you need them.

The Kate comes with 2.2-inch QVGA display and it will have built in memory of 120 MB. It will also supports expandable memory with an M2 card.

At this moment, there is no info on price and planned availability.
