The Tokyo-based venture company known for providing its network platform to many Virtual Network Operator and Internet Service Providers, FreeBit has released new iPhone applications which can transform the popular handheld device into a full-blown web server called as ServersMan@iPhone in Japanese App Store.

The ServersMan@iPhone will allow users to download and upload files between the iPhone and a remote computer via web browser. Once the app is installed, the computer on the Internet can access the iPhone to upload or download files through a browser. If the computer and the iPhone are on the same network then both of them can connect directly. However, they need FreeBit’s VPN software to establish the connection if they are on separate networks.

At the moment, the ServersMan for iPhone is only available for free in the while an English version is expected to be available in March as well as Windows Mobile version.
