AGL Announces Full HD LCD Panels Targeted for Outdoor and Digital Signage Usage

Generally LCD monitor is used in house but when there is a need to put it in public space or outdoor, a more durable LCD panel will be required. In order to fulfill its needs, AGL has unveiled a new series of LCD monitors that is claimed to be able to withstand extended temperature environment while able to offer a brighter display suitable for digital signage usage.

Basically there are three series of new models with different panel diagonal sizes in 22-inch, 24-inch and 32-inch formats. With all of them able to scale up to 1920 X 1080 full HD (High Definition) resolutions, an exceptional high brightness of 1000 nits will able to attract people attention suitable for digital signage, kiosk and other applications. Besides, LCD monitor reliability is another key selling point as with its ultra long 100,000 life time, there will be almost no need to worry about its maintenance cost in the long run. Other specifications include a 2ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio and more importantly, its extended operating temperature support ranging from -30 to 60 degree Celsius and water proof feature are highly suitable for industrial as well as outdoor environments. That is not all, a touch sensitive input capability has been integrated into the LCD panel to ease up some control with greatly designed GUI as an all-in-one solution for commercial space.
