Apple has introduced its new 24-inch LED Cinema Display (1920 x 1200 resolution), the first LED-backlit widescreen display made precisely for new MacBook family, featuring an integrated MagSafe charger, new Mini DisplayPort, three self-powered USB 2.0 ports, built-in iSight video camera, mic and speakers in an elegant, thin aluminum and glass enclosure, aiming to provide users a true desktop experience.

“The new LED Cinema Display is the most advanced display that Apple has ever made,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “It is a perfect fit for our sleek new line of aluminum MacBooks with its 24-inch LED-backlit screen, aluminum and glass enclosure, integrated camera, mic and speakers, MagSafe charger, three USB ports and Mini DisplayPort.”

According to Apple, “The LED Cinema Display is the perfect companion for your new MacBook, because it includes a convenient universal MagSafe connector that powers and charges your MacBook when you’re back at your home, office, or dorm. You can leave your MacBook power adapter right in your bag, ready to hit the road.”

The new 24-inch LED Cinema Display that requires MacBook, MacBook Air or MacBook Pro with new Mini DisplayPort is expected to be available in coming November for $899.
