Apple has officially announced the launch of its latest iTunes 10 with new Ping music-centric social network. The iTunes Ping is the most notable feature in the new version of iTunes which offers the best way to follow your favorite artists and friends for discovering what music they’re talking about, listening to and downloading. In addition, you’re allowed to share your thoughts and opinions, your favorite albums and songs and your downloaded music (from iTunes), as well as viewing concert listings and even tell friends your interested concert – all thanks to the ping music social network.

Besides, you can found a new capacity bar that shows you exactly how much space you’ve left on your device in real time, aimed for an enhanced syncing in new iTunes 10.

“iTunes is the number one music community in the world, with over 160 million iTunes users in 23 countries, and now we’re adding social networking with Ping,” said Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple. “With Ping you can follow your favorite artists and friends and join a worldwide conversation with music’s most passionate fans.”

Furthermore, iTunes 10 also allows for renting your favorite commercial-free HD TV episodes from ABC, ABC Family, Fox, Disney Channel and BBC America, costing for just 99 cents each episode.
