Similar to most of the netbook products, the embedded Atom processor is paired with Intel 945GSE and ICH7M to extend its PC processing capability beyond basic consumer usage. Some of the features include 12.1-inch 1024 X 768 resolution display, 2GB SODIMM memory, Wi-Fi 802.11n support, gigabit Ethernet, USB host ports, SATA hard disk drive, CompactFlash II slot for memory expansion and many more.

Besides having the advanced capabilities as a powerful industrial PC, the devices are further designed and enclosed with die-cast aluminum casing certified with both NEMA6 and IP67 industrial standards, which make them suitable for use under extreme environments with high durability and reliability. Worth to mention here, the Sailor-12ASR model is being enhanced with AR (Anti-Reflection) technology that enables the screen to be viewed under sunlight directly. Specifications include the higher contrast ratio of 700:1 (versus 500:1) and brightness of 1000 cd/m2 (versus 400 cd/m2) as compared to standard model.

No pricing and availability yet, the rugged machines will be preloaded with either Linux, Windows XP Embedded or Windows CE 6.0 and should reach commercial market soon.
