The leading maker of storage devices, LaCie has announced its new LaCie Little Big Disk, which the company claims as its first portable drive equipped with a breakthrough Intel-developed Thunderbolt technology that supports a pair of 10Gb per second bi-directional, multi-protocol channels from a single port. In order to complement the high-speed transferring rates offered by Thunderbolt interface, LaCie Little Big Disk that encased in LaCie’s classic d2 sturdy aluminum casing is featured with 2 fast, resistant 250GB Intel 510 series SSDs.

LaCie Little Big Disk is expected to be available at lacie.com, apple.com and authorized resellers in this summer but no words on its exact launch date and pricing details yet.
