Logitech S715i Rechargeable Speaker Dock for iPhone and iPod (8 Hours Battery Life)

Logitech has announced the launch of its new portable, rechargeable speaker dock for Apple’s iPod and iPhone, named as Logitech Rechargeable Speaker S715i, which Logitech promises to deliver a superior, crisp sound thanks to its 8 custom-designed speaker – a pair of 3-inch laser-tuned neodymium drivers for rich mid range, two 0.5-inch tweeters and four 2-inch passive radiators for deep bass, supporting up to 8 hour long battery life with a single charge.

“With this system, we set out to deliver our next generation in sound quality for a speaker dock for the iPod,” commented Mark Schneider, vice president and general manager for Logitech’s audio business unit. “The new Rechargeable Speaker S715i offers eight drivers – twice that of our previous speaker docks – and includes a rechargeable battery so you can take your tunes with you. So go ahead, lose yourself in your music – and never worry about disposable batteries again.”

The new compact, lightweight Logitech Rechargeable Speaker S715i which measures 15.2 x 5.2 x 2.4 inches and weights just 24 oz will come along with a wireless remote control for added convenient, slated to be available this month for a SRP of $149.99.
