Logitech Unveils Quickcam Vision Pro for Macintosh PC System

Logitech, a famous computer peripherals’ maker has just unveiled a new high end version of webcam, named as Quickcam Vision Pro targeted specifically for Macintosh machine. Unlike conventional webcams, this webcam is featured with high performance Carl Zeiss lens that is able to support HD video recording of up to 1600 X 1200 pixels quality with built in 2-megapixel optical sensor.

Besides its high performance, the powerful webcam is featured with premium autofocus that can stay consistently producing sharp image even in very short close-ups distance of only 10cm from the lens. Further enhanced with RightLight 2 Technology, it can automatically fine tune the optical lens to produce the best quality video image regardless of surrounding lighting conditions. Best of all, every great feature is packed into its sleek and stylish design. In terms of computer system requirement, user will need a Mac OS machine with at least version of 10.4.11 as well as a processor clocking at 800MHz or higher.

The webcam will be commercialized in next month at a retail price of $130. Although it is a bit pricey, but if you are looking for Carl Zeiss optics with HD video quality recording, this is definitely your choice once your budget allow.
