Microsoft has expanded its LifeCam portfolio with the launch of new Microsoft LifeCam Studio web camera, which the company claims as its first webcam equipped with a 1080p full HD sensor that able to deliver a superior sharpness and full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) image quality in 16:9 widescreen format.



Key features of Microsoft LifeCam Studio includes:

  • High-precision glass element lens aimed for superior clarity

The new Microsoft LifeCam Studio 1080p high-definition web camera is scheduled to hit Best Buy stores by September 2010 for about $100.
