Not long after we mentioned about XS35, the famous PC maker has recently announced another Intel Atom D510 dual-core based all-in-one PC for consumer market. Named as X50V2, it will be preloaded with either Windows 7 Home Premium or SUSE Linux Operating Systems suitable for both home and office use.



The X50V2 will be powered by Intel dual-core Atom processor clocking at 1.66GHz. Further combined with NM10 I/O Hub, it provides necessary interfaces such as 10/100 Ethernet ports, PCI-Express slot for 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN module, commonly available USB 2.0 ports, both serial and parallel interfaces, legacy audio, VGA video output, 4-in-1 SD card slots for memory expansion and many more. Besides, it is integrated with up to 4GB DDR2 DIMM memory as well as a 2.5-inch SATA hard disk with 250GB memory capacity, making it a complete standalone machine suitable for various usage. Some other key features include the embedded touch screen module with the size of 15.6-inch that offer up to 1366×768 resolutions and a built-in webcam to enhance greater user experience as multimedia desktop system. In case users are not satisfied with its relatively low resolution touch screen LCD, the integrated graphics core in processor will able to scale its resolution up to 2048 x 1536 pixels via an external LCD display.

Measured around 391 x 327 x 36mm and weighted around 3.6kg, Shuttle X50V2 is already available in Europe market now and at a retail price of around 353 Euros (equivalent to $477), it is no doubt one of the great all-in-one PC systems that you can relied on to be fitted in space constraint environment.
