Super Talent Launches 2.5-Inch MasterDrive RX SSDs (Up To 512GB) With RAIDSSD Technology

One of the global leader of Flash storage solutions and DRAM memory modules, Super Talent Technology has launched its new 2.5-inch SATA-II MasterDrive RX SSDs in capacities up to 512GB, including 128GB MasterDrive RX (MLC), 256GB MasterDrive RX (MLC), 512GB MasterDrive RX (MLC), 128GB MasterDrive RX (SLC) and 256GB MasterDrive RX (SLC), which utilize RAIDSSD Technology to deliver extremely fast sequential read and write speeds.

According to Super Talent Technology, the MasterDrive RX with MLC NAND flash can deliver a maximum sequential read speed of 230MB/sec and a maximum sequential write speed of 160MB/sec, while the SLC-based MasterDrive RX sports a maximum sequential read speed of 230MB/sec and a maximum sequential write speed of 200MB/sec.

“The MasterDrive RX is the latest product utilizing our patented RAIDSSD Technology,” said Jeremy Werner, senior product marketing manager of Super Talent. “This product is great! From a performance standpoint it’s like having two SSDs in the space of one, and it extends our standard 2.5″ SATA-II product line to include a 512GB SSD.”

The 512GB MasterDrive RX 2.5-inch SATA-II SSD with MLC flash is available for about $1500.
