If you access Microsoft Download Center or Windows Update and Microsoft Update website lately, chance are your system will be installed with a new version 1.8.32.1 (1.8.0032.1) of Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) Validation Tool. The infamous ActiveX components perform a validation check on Windows operating to verify that the installed copy of OS is genuine and legitimate.
Rightfully, the validation should be done flawlessly. However, on some cases, the validation may fail for unknown reason and cannot pass even though the operating system is paid for. For user whose system is detected and validated as non-genuine or pirated by WGA Validation Tool test, there is always a simple workaround, a crack made by ETH0.
ETHO crack (made famous by ETH0, although nowadays the crack is no longer developed and published by ETH0, but by Wocarson) patches and cracks 3 WGA system files that comprised of LegitCheckControl.dll, WgaLogon.dll and WgaTray.exe in order to force WGA validates the Windows XP, Vista, Server 2003, Server 2008 and possibly Windows 7 regardless of its actual status.
The WGA crack works perfectly on and allows users to access Windows Update, Microsoft Update and Microsoft Download Center. The usage guide (installation instructions) is as usual:
1. Extract into a new empty folder
2. Run installer.bat
Download Windows.Genuine.Advantage.Validation.v1.8.32.1.CRACKED.rar (fake version).
WARNING: This may be FAKE version. Verify your WGA version in file properties. So far, Microsoft officially released version is up to WGA v1.8.31.9.
